Join Sherwood Forest Hospitals for its Annual General Meeting and Improving Lives Showcase

Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is inviting members of the public to attend its Annual General Meeting (AGM) and annual members' meeting, followed by a special Improving Lives Showcase celebrating the work taking place across the Trust.

The event will take place at King’s Mill Hospital in the Conference Centre on Wednesday 23 September from 5:30 pm and is open to all members of the public.

During the AGM, attendees will hear about the Trust’s performance during the 2025/26 financial year, including achievements, challenges and progress made in delivering high-quality care for local communities. The meeting will also provide an opportunity to learn more about the Trust’s future priorities and ambitions, and how it is continuing to deliver on its Improving Lives strategy.

Rukshana Kapasi OBE, Chair of Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, said: "The Annual General Meeting is an important opportunity to reflect on the progress we have made during 2025/26 and to share our ambitions for the future with our communities.

"I am incredibly proud of the dedication and compassion shown by colleagues across our hospitals and community services every day. The AGM and Improving Lives Showcase will give people the chance to learn more about the work taking place across the Trust, meet some of our teams and see first-hand how we are working together to deliver outstanding care for our patients and communities."

Prior to the AGM, members of the public are welcome to explore the Trust’s Improving Lives Showcase from 4:30 pm, featuring teams from across the organisation who will be on hand to talk about their work, innovations and the difference they make for patients, families and communities.

Teams will be showcasing how they support patients and communities, with opportunities for attendees to ask questions and learn more about the wide range of services available across Sherwood Forest Hospitals.

The event will be held in person only at King’s Mill Hospital. Anyone wishing to attend the AGM and Improving Lives Showcase can book a free place via Eventbrite.
