Parking
Car parking signage is clearly displayed showing how to pay and where you can park.
You no longer need to obtain a physical parking ticket on entry. The parking system reads your vehicle registration plate when you arrive and leave.
You pay on exit - either by cash (both notes and coins), debit or credit card, or contactless at the pay machines. If paying at the machines, please make a note of your vehicle registration plate as you will need to enter this.
You can also pay via an app called Trust, which is available to download from the Apple App Store or Google Play.
At King’s Mill Hospital, the public car parks have barriers. An illuminated sign shows when spaces are available.
There is a free 30-minute drop-off period in visitor car parks, which has increased from 15 minutes. If you are staying less than 30 minutes, you don't need to visit a pay machine as the barrier will lift automatically to let you out.
There is a free drop-off point outside the main entrance at each of our three hospitals. There’s also a drop-off point at our Emergency Department at King’s Mill. You can park in these for 10 minutes.
See our car parking page for current rates and more information.
