Samaritans: Available 24 hours a day to provide confidential emotional support for people who are experiencing feelings of distress and despair. The Samaritans aim to respond to your email within 24 hours. How quickly they respond depends on how many volunteers they have working at that time. If you email jo@samaritans.org and don’t receive a reply within 24 hours, it may be worth checking your junk mail folder or re-sending your original message just in case there was a problem with sending it the first time.

Child Bereavement UK: Provide confidential support, information and guidance to families and professionals.

Childhood Bereavement Network: This is a hub for healthcare professionals working with bereaved children, young people and their families in the UK.

Winston’s Wish resources: This is a charity for bereaved children. It provides support to children via telephone, email and face-to-face. Support is also provided for healthcare professionals who are working with bereaved children.
