Parent and carer facilities

While your baby is on the NICU unit, we have parent and carer facilities available for you to use.

Family rooms

These include, three family rooms with king size beds and bathrooms, kitchen areas, a lounge area including dining room table, fold up beds, expressing room, play room and quiet room.

Hot drinks, water, bread and cereal are available within the family area. Food vouchers are available for the Spice of Life hospital restaurant. Please ask a staff member for more information about this.

Hospital facilities

We also have a range of hospital facilities available for you to use. These include the volunteer café, the Spice for Life restaurant, vending machines, WHSmith and Costa Coffee. There is also a Morrisons supermarket next to our hospital site.

The Emily Harris Foundation

In memory of their lovely daughter, the Emily Harris Foundation was created. This foundation supports families and staff on the Neonatal Unit. Registered Charity Number: 1196802.
