Bailey - 'A' Level Student

Wayfinding volunteer Bailey recently starred in a Trust Board outstanding service video with his colleague Sharon who has supported him to increase his interpersonal skills and gain confidence to apply to study medicine.  Bailey achieved fantastic A level results and is on a gap year before heading to University.

Lexi

Lexi joined us in July 2023 and also assists with the Wayfinding Service. Lexi is keen to work at King’s Mill Hospital and thought volunteering alongside studying for her Maths and English qualifications would enhance her applications. Lexi is dyslexic and partially deaf and feels empowered to support people with similar disabilities.

Vaishali and Nebin - 'A' Level Students

Vaishali and Nebin joined us as Newark Hospital volunteers in 2024 to gain experience of working in a hospital environment.  Both are about to embark on their A Level studies and will continue to volunteer over the next two years to support them in their future careers in medicine or the sciences.
