What to expect in your face-to-face appointment
You and your clinician will discuss your history and symptoms and then assess you. As part of this they may need to see and examine/touch the problem area with your consent.
What should I wear?
With your consent your clinician may ask you to remove or roll up items of clothing to see your knee, back, shoulder or other problem area. Please wear comfortable loose fitting clothes and consider wearing shorts if you have a knee problem or a vest under your outer clothes to help with the assessment of a back or shoulder issue.
Who will I be seeing?
You will be seeing a fully qualified clinician (we have both male and female members within our service). You will be given your clinicians name when booking. If you have any preferences please let us know as soon as possible before your appointment and we will try to accommodate you.
After your assessment your clinician will discuss the treatment options and their benefits with you to help make a shared plan of treatment.
